When I received the invitation to Jovian Mandagie’s RTW Raya Collection for Zalora this
year, I have to tell you that I got pretty excited. Presented by Lux, I was confident that the
event is going to be
amazing.
As I entered the glasshouse, the beautiful of Orchids caught my eye and the rich, bold and irresistible scent made me wonder
where it
came from. Then
there it was - a
display
of luxurious flower wall of Lux Magical Spell shower cream.
The Lux Magical Spell just gave me heaven in my
nose
with
the scent of black orchid. The
smell
is definitely a confidence
booster and
it
made me feel bold and beautiful. I mean, more
beautiful *flips hair*
I took a chance for
selfies with blogger friends and even took one with the flower wall.
The event started
so beautifully! In the beginning, we were introduced to a styling session,
whereby a stylist gave us a few tips on styling neck scarves. And guess what,
we all took home one of the 2 neck scarves designs that were created by Jovian
Mandagie exclusively for Lux! More than that, the neck scarf were scented with
the long lasting fine fragrance scent of Lux Magical Spell.
After the event, I went
home
and tried Lux Magical Spell. Boy…was it Magical?! It is indeed a long lasting fine fragrance smell
that can lasts for up to 8 hours! I can now
save
on perfumes/mist
and
shhh~ I also
got more
kisses from the hubs.
Anyway, I was obsessing over the shower cream until it was time for Jovian to showcase
his new collection. Lux paired up with Jovian Mandagie and
ZALORA this year to introduce the Raya collection. Lux has always been
inspiring women to be bold and beautiful and it fits the theme of Jovian’s Raya
collection this year – bold and elegant designs. For the first time in Raya
fashion, Lux brings us a fashion show of Jovian Mandagie for Zalora. It was
really exciting to see how to brands – Lux and Jovian fits into one theme of
bringing women confidence with the long lasting fine fragrance that lasts for
up to 8 hours with BOLD and elegant designs of Raya collection. Its’ just
perfect!
The Jovian Mandagie Raya for ZALORA Raya collection is inspired by Grace Kelly, a classic personality of the
Hollywood actress turned Princess of Monaco. And
she was also Lux ambassador back in the 50’s! So undoubtedly, the collection is going to be a show stopper.
Guess what, all pieces of the Jovian Mandagie Raya collection for Zalora is

Back to the fashion show… The moment arrived, my jaw just dropped. Said to myself “I am going to be broke this
raya...kids, sorry

The elegant and glamorous personality of Grace Kelly is beautifully translated into the 2016 collection. It possess a distinctive royal touch made by
a mixture of
textured fabric,
plush crepe, light weight chiffon, jacquard and imperial brocade
elements which are delicately accented with crystal beads, radiant semi-precious stones, bugles, salt dough and glass beads.
I have got to say that the best element
of the collection is the cutting and on how it accentuates the body. I can stay
fat and still look good in it! Bring on the ketupat and rendang!
Now, let me share with you the Jovian
Mandagie for Zalora 2016 Collection presented by Lux and let me warn you, you
are about to lose your ringgits. The superb quality fabric and detailing calls
for no mercy. You will definitely want them all :p
