Lux Presents Jovian Mandagie for Zalora Raya Collection – with Iconic Touch of Grace Kelly

When I received the invitation to Jovian Mandagie’s RTW Raya Collection for Zalora this year, I have to tell you that I got pretty excited. Presented by Lux, I was confident that the event is going to be amazing.

As I entered the glasshouse, the beautiful of Orchids caught my eye and the rich, bold and irresistible scent made me wonder where it came from. Then there it was - a display of luxurious flower wall of Lux Magical Spell shower cream.

The Lux Magical Spell just gave me heaven in my nose with the scent of black orchid.  The smell is definitely a confidence booster and it made me feel bold and beautiful. I mean, more beautiful *flips hair*

I took a chance for selfies with blogger friends and even took one with the flower wall.

The event started so beautifully! In the beginning, we were introduced to a styling session, whereby a stylist gave us a few tips on styling neck scarves. And guess what, we all took home one of the 2 neck scarves designs that were created by Jovian Mandagie exclusively for Lux! More than that, the neck scarf were scented with the long lasting fine fragrance scent of Lux Magical Spell.

After the event, I went home and tried Lux Magical Spell. Boy…was it Magical?! It is indeed a long lasting fine fragrance smell that can lasts for up to 8 hours! I can now  save  on  perfumes/mist  and  shhh~  I  also  got  more kisses from the hubs.

30: After two,Before four

It is the big three zero. At the beginning of the year,i had a lot of plans in my head. I thought of throwing US a party with friends, i thought of a weekend getaway to some luxury hotel. Just the 2 of us,some snacks and some scented candles and perhaps stuffs or actions that i think should be kept private :p

But of course...few days before his birthday,he told me that he has to travel
to Hamburg,Germany ALONE. Not cool! I am still recovering from post London-Amsterdam depression and he is leaving me behind!!!

Anyway, i am always "kiasu" when it comes to wishing happy birthday but for 2 consecutive years, i missed being the one wishing him at 12am sharp! Yes..i did it again this year! All for this post!

So here goes my special message to you my sayang,my everything...

It does not matter that you are at a beautiful country WITHOUT ME with you,it does not matter that we do not get to be together on this special day of yours, it does not matter that i missed your birthday by few minutes because you are always and forever will be special to me and today is just an excuse to celebrate.
Over the years that i have known you, i have seen the many phases of Farez.

The fat short black belt taekwando graduate - The acne machine - The party animal - The burger king heart breaker - The Mr. Let me look at your hand and let me whisper to you - the superman - and currently the hipster boss ned.

You have definitely grown better looking and more stylish hahahaha.

Auralens : Aigner brown

Being -325 blind makes it necessary for me to wear lens. I just love colored lenses and i have to admit, i feel naked without one. 

A foreigner once asked me "Why does Asians especially Malaysians love to wear colored lenses?". I could not answer.
She insisted for an answer.so she asked...

1. To look Eurasian?
I said maybe but not quite, people obviously know that we are Malay

2. So that you do not need to use an eyeshadow.. since you already have colored eye ball?
Lol.Well, i dont think so

3. To bring out your skin tone?
Untuk nampak lebih coklat, hitam or grey. Err...no?

So,why? I guess, we just want what we cant have. Dont you think so?

While you figure that out, i want to share my latest lens collection! The Auralens!

Honestly, i have never heard of the brand before and i am a bit skeptical when it comes to buying new lenses. For that reason, I always end up buying common brands such as freshlook,freshkon, etc.

This month i decided to try a new brand.
In support of our beautiful host and local celebrity, Neelofa (so much love for that woman. A true entrepreneur)..i decided to browse for Lofalens on instagram.

I did some research and realize that almost all lofalens agents are also selling Auralens. A brand that i have never heard before but actually quite known on instagram.  I immediately fell in love with their selection of colours. 

I was contemplating between Auralens and Lofalens but decided to go with Auralens since it is way cheaper. For RM60/box that can last you up to 3mths, I would say thats really cheap.

A color called "Aigner Brown" really caught my EYE . It is also one of their best selling color. Search for hashtag #aignerbrown on instagram to see the color.

Brave cuts: QUICK cut

For weeks I have been contemplating on whether I should/shouldn't cut my hair shorter.

Yes what?! As if its not short already? 

One thing about me is that I get bored of things quite easily. Not just with my hairstyle but with just about anything; my style, my bags, my shoes, my clothes, my mate (eh?!) Just kidding :p

But really.. I even have colleagues who said to me "u ni kadang2 style harry potter,sometimes gaya makcik makcik,cepat betul berubah"
Well....thanks?

I was contemplating between these 3 hairstyles:

After much consideration and support from family, peers,  building cleaners, cashiers, building receptionists, our tea lady, etc( I think I made them tell me to chop off my hair because I wont quit asking until they say so haha) , I have decided to go for the safest cut...which is the last photo.

And as of every haircut that I have experienced, 

I never get the length that I want.

I think the stylist hated my coarse hair and decided to kill 3" of my hair with his scissors.

Its freaking short!!!!! Nanges!

Now, I cant lie. 

There is a bit of regret but hair will grow. 

So stop being so dramatic Gja! Come on!

I am in a love hate relationship with my hair now...

It looks good at some angles.

That is how I evaluate my haircut ladies, 

from my selfies hahaha. Vain who?

Before I end this post, let me tell you that I had this haircut at an express salon and it costs me RM18!

Beat my bravery ladies!

But really, I think these quick cuts are meant for moms like me :p

I dont need the washing,blowing.

I just need my hair done ASAP before my son throws his tantrums.

Based on my experience today, I would say go for it!
